Kirsty is a well-known figure in the local banding scene, currently the Principal Cornet for the very successful Thrapston Town Band. She also brings extensive conducting experience, most notably as Musical Director of Moulton 77 Brass Band, where she has led the band through a period of exciting musical growth and development.

 

Kirsty says "I’m really excited to be working with Daventry Brass. From my first visit, it was clear the band has a lovely atmosphere, great facilities, and a group of players who are both welcoming and committed. I’m looking forward to helping the band grow and develop, whilst having plenty of fun along the way. Daventry Brass are looking forward to a fun, bright future under Kirsty's direction and always welcome new players of all ages and abilities.
