A picture kindly taken of the band in November 2007 by M Barlow. The band marches every year and a member of the band plays the Last Post.

A fantastic party for the village was thrown to celebrate the Townsend family being in the village for 100years, and Daventry Brass were called upon to provide some entertainment!

The Party was a huge success and Daventry Brass were honoured to have been there.

Aside from the Band, there was a carousel, pig roast and fireworks to rival those at Northampton's Ballon Festival! The Band performed well despite difficult conditions (the wind kept blowing the sound all over the place and the lights didn't quite illuminate everybodies part!) and received a great response.

As you will see from the pictures, some of the band decided to invade the carousel!!!! Perhaps a little silly but everyone had such fun that it didn't matter!

You don't get many Village Fetes where a Brass Band marches up the High Street! Your chance to see our conductor in action!

Everdon's Village Fete has all that you'd expect from a fete and more, classic cars and other automobiles, karting and all the other usual games.

New addition 13/10/08 Janine Machin from BBC Look East opened the fete, and had a go at Euphonium! Watch out Nick, you've got competition!!

This is one of our regular gigs, and is always a great success.

Fun for all the family with bouncy castles, Llamas, Morris Dancers, Arts and Crafts stands, tea and cakes stalls, and of course a delicious pig roast! Not forgetting the running race!

The Band played from 10:30am to 4:00pm, sharing the entertainments with the Morris Dancers.

Once again, a fantastic fete enjoyed by all; we hope to be back again next year.
